Fourth-year students from the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) showcased their final-year projects and research innovations aimed at addressing challenges in agriculture and rural development.

The exhibition featured a range of locally developed agricultural machines and technologies designed to improve efficiency across different farming operations, including seed planting, fertilizer application, harvesting, and agricultural product processing. The projects demonstrated how engineering solutions can reduce labour demands, increase productivity, minimize post-harvest losses, and support sustainable farming practices.

The showcase highlighted the creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities of SUA engineering students in developing practical technologies that contribute to agricultural transformation and improve the livelihoods of farmers.
